To the Moon and Beyond
I grew up with the space program so the opportunity to work as a designer at Kennedy Space Center was irresistible. My office even overlooked the iconic Vehicle Assembly Building, with a clear view of historic Launch Pad 39A.

As a contractor, I collaborated with a team of NASA engineers who needed help presenting their software solution to senior management. While the software itself was robust, the user interface needed a compelling redesign to communicate its value effectively.

I spent the summer deeply immersed in the technical details of Orion and the Space Launch System, working alongside engineers and developers to understand their vision. My role was to translate their complex requirements into an engaging, realistic visual mockup that adhered to the technical precision of their project. The goal was to showcase the software’s capabilities in a way that resonated with both engineers and decision-makers.

Toward the end of the project, I was invited to participate in JavaScript code reviews—a reflection of my expertise in UI development and my ability to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation.
